can anybody help I am after a leftie tele bass early to mid seventies even later one will possibly do

Congratulations! Long wait for this bass, I saw the post dates.
I've never heard a Telecaster bass, how would you describe the sound, compared to a Jazz or Precision bass?
And how 'bout some pics?

I'm not a bass expert but I believe the Tele bass was Fender's first bass design. With minor tweaks it became the P-bass.

I've got an Aria (Teisco-made) tele bass copy. It's a short-scale. It's right-handed, but maybe they made some lefties too? Poke around on ebay under Aria and Teisco. The construction quality on mine I would say kinda blows, but it works fine anyways.

The Tele sound is like a P bass but with a bit more grunt. So a deep growly sound or the treble if you what.
I have posted a foto of the build at the current stage.
Can't wait to get this bass hopefully be for March have a full month of gigs.

Is that not a Fender?

My bass has arrived. what a beautiful instrument, well worth the wait.
My guitar is setting up the bass as we speak waiting for a fone call this afternoon.
