Hey Woof!
Lots of guys can't log in. I don't know if you've seen this in the "Cheap seats" Conference, posted by Lovat:
ings,
this is now getting like speaking to a def aunt at a wedding...
Could a logged in poster post back on Woof's post about "best blues non blues guitarist" and say that the superb Ritchie Blackmore does a beautiful blues piece on the Purple label sampler from 1972 called " When a blind man cries".
His lix are brilliant and his funky blue side can be heard on the likes of "Demon's eye" "Lazy" and "Highway Star".
Ritchie came fom the same stable of guitar players in the early 60's as did all the later UK bluesos,ie playing American R+B and R+R up and down the M1 and into Germany/Holland etc.
Of course he is working on a different astral plane now, but remains one of the best Brit rawk players ever.
adios,
Lovat
