Jeff Beck's Emotion & Commotion

Your chance to write big-time blues reviews. Only two rules: First, if you're connected to the band or artist, go to Shameless Promotion; Second, don't write a book -- keep it relatively short and simple, no 1,000+ word epics.

Oh .. and make it fun.

one of my favorite guitarists alive but this CD is so dull and boring it hurts to see. I'm not a fan of his studio work after 1976, though... he had some great albums back in the day.
if you want new Beck, see his Live At Ronnie Scott's DVD. it's great!

PBS has been showing a nice concert video entitled A Tribute to Les Paul (or something along that line). As I recall, most of it was Bill Haley / Gene Vincent style rockabilly with guests including Brian Setzer. Close enough to the Jeff Beck I grew up listening to; check it out if you get the chance.
