Been so busy, I neglected this project for a few weeks.
But now I'm getting ready to post it for sale on Ebay.

I think it came out good, but my work does not compare to factory made guitars, so it has many tiny blems.
I would have liked to sand off the Oscar Schmidt name, and inlay my own, but that would take some time to learn.

It has 2 volume, and one tone knob, 2 coil tap switches and 3 way pickup selector. In single coil mode the output drops, but of course it would.
I chose US made components: Peavey T-60 pups, Sperzel tuners and Hipshot bridge.
Sorry I can't play left handed, so I could really explore it's tone variety.

It looks great! I wish I could take her off your hands. Good luck with the sale. I'll post it up for you over at the left handed guitar forum I post on, if you put the eBay link up here.

Thanks Lefty!
Will do.
Let me know what you think of the blue neck on the brown/tan body, does that look OK?
Thanks.

Very cool so far.You gonna keep the trapeze tailpiece? I guess it's too late to make it an F-hole like a Les Paul Flortntine.

I'm a lefty. When you find something good you gotta jump on it.Got a 64 and two 68,s I bought new.I love the blue neck. You can buy a headstock overlay on e-bay,already inlaid,or you can design your own logo.About 30 bucks.

Thanks,
No I never put a F holes in there. They would only be of use for unplugged playing anyway, and I just don't like them in a tiny body.
Yea, that lefty sold right away.
As for the logo, I just got a jewelers saw, some MOP blanks and some nickle silver. I'll cut out my logo and inlay it.
Seems like all the manufactured guitars have just a decal or stenciled on logo nowadays.
