An old black mine worker song

Postby Slacker G » Sun Nov 23, 2014 5:24 pm

This song dates way back in time being passed down person to person through the years with various verses added and changed. Black workers in the post-Civil War South sang some versions of it while they worked the coal mines. Since then a good many musicians have recorded various versions of it sometimes adding their own verses and personalizing it.
I thought I would play it as a guitar lick road map of sorts so I didn't forget what I wanted to do with it on video, but my processor was acting up and it has a bit of splatter in it. Regardless it has some fair ideas in it for those who may wish to use them so I "cleaned" it up a bit.
As usual, for me, it's all about the guitar. I'm still working out how I want to present the vocal at this time.
